TASK Counter

PROJECT GOAL: Our main goal was to create something that would help our client, Suzanne Silverstein, stay on top of her tasks. The project is light, transportable, with a simple design that is intuitive, and does not require fine motor skills.

In the United States, 12 million seniors live alone, and 40% of them have memory issues. This means they’re prone to forgetting even the most everyday of tasks. With the age of technology always looking to the future, these elders are often left behind. The TASK Counter helps them stay on top of their tasks and keep moving forward. Its low cost design also helps make technology more accessible to the 4.7 million seniors who are impoverished.

Printer Fixer

PROJECT GOAL: Our main goal was to make something to help our client Melissa to stay productive at work, so we have to find a solution that is quicker, lighter, and easier than the current method of reaching the IT department.

On average, an American worker spends 22 minutes dealing with an IT-associated issue. If this always happens when there’s an issue, that would be wasted time that could’ve been spent finishing whatever you needed to do. Our client needs a quicker way to contact the IT department. With our invention, it would decrease the time spent waiting for the problem to be fixed. It is also easier because the IT person can carry it which would alert them that something needs to be fixed no matter where they are.
